Floor wrap FAQ

The questions we hear most. Do not see yours? Ask us.

Are floor wraps and dance floor decals slippery?

No. Every wrap gets a textured, slip-resistant laminate made for floors, so it is safe to walk and dance on.

Will a floor wrap or decal damage my floor?

Event wraps use a removable adhesive designed to come up clean from hard floors such as wood, tile, sealed concrete and venue dance floors. We check the surface before we install.

How long does it last?

Event wraps are built for the event. Home and commercial floors use a longer-life laminate, and how long they last depends on the traffic they see. We tell you what to expect for your space.

Can you install a floor decal on carpet?

Not directly. Carpet needs a hard subfloor put down first. Ask us and we will talk through options for your venue.

What kind of file do you need?

Vector files work best (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG). High-resolution PNG or JPG works too. No file? We can design it for a $150 flat fee.

How do I measure my floor?

Measure the length and width in feet and note anything in the way, such as columns, vents or a DJ booth. A photo of the space helps us a lot.

Where do you install?

Chicago and the suburbs, southeast Wisconsin and northwest Indiana. Everywhere else in the US, we print and ship your wrap with application tips.

How fast can you do it?

Local installs often happen the same week. Need it in under 48 hours? Rush service is +25%.

Do you take it up after the event?

Yes. Removal is $350, scheduled right after your event.

How much does a dance floor wrap cost?

$8 per sq ft printed and shipped, or $11 per sq ft installed locally with a $750 minimum. See the pricing guide for examples.
