Custom floor wraps in Chicago
Custom printed dance floor wraps, home floor wraps and commercial floor graphics for Chicago neighborhoods and downtown, installed by our own crew or shipped for self-install.
We print custom floor wraps for weddings, parties, homes and businesses across the city of Chicago, from the Loop and River North to neighborhoods on the North, South and West Sides. Our own crew installs them, and since our material supplier is a few minutes away, city installs often happen the same week you approve the design. If you’d rather lay the wrap yourself, we print it and ship it to you.
Events in Chicago
Chicago events happen in a wide range of rooms: downtown hotel ballrooms, restaurant private rooms, rooftop spaces, church and parish halls, neighborhood banquet halls, and converted industrial lofts in places like Fulton Market on the Near West Side, a former meatpacking and warehouse district. A printed wrap works in any of them as long as the floor underneath is smooth and hard, such as hardwood, sealed concrete, vinyl or a portable dance floor. See dance floor wraps for design ideas.
Downtown buildings usually control how vendors get in. Many have a loading dock with set delivery windows and a freight elevator that has to be reserved. When you ask for a quote, include the venue’s load-in rules and the time the room opens to vendors, so we can plan around them instead of finding out at the door.
Winter is the other city-specific issue. Chicago averages roughly 36 inches of snow a season, and snow is possible from about October through April. Guests and staff track in slush and rock salt, so the install area has to be cleaned and dried before the wrap goes down. A December holiday party or a January wedding is fine; ask the venue to keep the room closed off until we’re finished.
For weddings, The Knot’s national data puts the most popular dates on Saturdays in June, September and October, and fall has been the top season since 2015. If your date falls in those months, get your request in early so design and printing aren’t squeezed. Rush printing in under 48 hours is available for an extra 25%.
Homes and businesses in Chicago
Much of the city’s housing is older brick. The Historic Chicago Bungalow Association counts more than 80,000 Chicago bungalows, built between 1910 and 1940 and typically with a full basement, and the city also has plenty of two-flats and courtyard buildings. A wrap is a quick way to change a finished basement, playroom or home gym that already has a smooth hard floor. It’s a wrap, not new flooring, so leave out spots that stay wet, like a basement corner with seepage or the area around a floor drain. Our home floor wraps page covers what works and what doesn’t.
For businesses we print storefront entrance graphics, retail promo floors, gym logo floors, lobby graphics and directional arrows for offices and warehouses. Shops on busy commercial streets see constant foot traffic, so tell us where the graphic goes and how long it needs to stay down, and we’ll suggest a size and placement. See commercial floor graphics.

Chicago questions
Can you install in a downtown hotel or high-rise?
Yes, as long as we can get the materials in. Send us the venue’s loading dock hours, freight elevator rules and any vendor paperwork they require, and we’ll schedule the install around them.
What if guests track in snow and salt during a winter event?
The wrap has a textured, slip-resistant laminate on top, so spills and slush can be wiped up during the party. Salt and grit still scuff any floor surface, so a mat or runner at the entrance helps. The more important part happens before install: the floor under the wrap has to be clean and dry.
Do you install in condos and apartments?
Yes, on smooth hard floors. Check your building’s rules for contractors and elevator use first, and if you rent, get your landlord’s OK before putting anything on the floor.
How quickly can you do a Chicago install?
Our material supplier is a few minutes away, so city installs often happen the same week. If you need it in under 48 hours, rush is available for 25% extra.
